Mottarone (1491 m): easily reached by a panoramic road with a view of the seven lakes, the Alps and Monte Rosa, it offers 15 km of ski slopes in winter, and from spring to autumn paths for regenerating walks in a Trail Park and an adventure park. Borromeo Island: The archipelago of the Borromean Islands is located in the middle of Lake Maggiore, to the west, in the Borromean Gulf. This stretch of lake bathes the three main tourist towns of the area: Stresa, Verbania and Baveno.

Exotic animals (the peacock is fantastic), rare plants and palaces, discover the place where all this is possible. Botanical gardens, Baroque palaces, a medieval fortress, nothing is missing to admire the beauties of the place. Lake Orta extends from the Novara countryside to the foot of Mottarone. From there it is possible to reach the island of San Giulio by boat, also known as the “Island of Silence”. On the island reigns peace and tranquility where you can enjoy an extraordinary sunset. Arona is located about an hour by train from Milan Central Station and 65 km by car. The town is 18 km from Milan Malpensa Airport, 37 km from Gattinara, 24 km from Orta, 42 km from Novara, 34 km from Mottarone, 18 km from Stresa, 63 km from Domodossola.
